Interview by Dan Travis

The university has a record enrollment of 35,568 students last semester. How has this increased enrollment affected you?

"It's a good thing because I'm one of those people. I started last semester. It gives you a chance to meet people from all walks of life."

Should the university continue to grow?

"It should, because it only benefits you. But the only downside is that it would make the classes larger and give students less of a chance for a one-on-one with their professor."

Did the size of the university influence your decision to come here?

"It did. I really like the small town of San Marcos and the campus is big but not overwhelming."

Does the large student population affect you transportation to campus?

"No it doesn't because I live on campus."
